Company Director Graham Johnstone Bsc (Hons) has over 10 years experience in commercial building surveying and project management. Having worked with Faithful & Gould Chartered Surveyors for 5 years he was heavily involved in working with large financial sector clients in the delivery of national roll out refurbishment projects and property management of Inland Revenue’s Scottish portfolio.
In 2005 Graham joined Lloyds TSB Group Property Management and was responsible for managing commercial properties in Edinburgh. His main role was to manage the revenue budget for a number of properties and project management for large capital projects.
From 2007 to 2009 he worked within private practice building surveyors where his involvement included maintenance management, reactive maintenance, dilapidations, schedules of condition, project management, CDM coordination., schedules of condition, project management, title plans, land surveying and the preparation of commercial energy performance certificates.
In August 2010 Graham established GJ Property Consultants as a limited company offering commercial and residential surveying services. Despite the business being in it’s infancy and during difficult economic times the company is thriving in a challenging market and taking strong strides into securing long term client relationships.
